Dawn Spyker
Ms. Spyker teaches Pottery, Sculpture, and IB Visual Arts. She also runs the Art Club after school on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30.
Originally from Indiana, Ms. Spyker has a BFA from the University of Indianapolis, a teaching license from St. Mary of the Woods College, and a Master of Arts with an emphasis in ceramic sculpture from the University of Louisville.

Megan Henry
Ms. Henry teaches Art Studio, Drawing & Design, Painting, Printmaking, Multimedia Design, and the Partners’ Club Art Class. She also teaches Art & Advertising as the instructor for King Tech’s 3rd session.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Ms. Henry earned a B.S.Ed in Art Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Teaching & Learning from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a focus in arts integration and an ESL endorsement.

Lauren Langford
Ms. Langford teaches photography, a new course offered at West High School as of the fall semester of 2024. She also teaches First Aid, has previously taught U.S. History and U.S. Government, and is the head coach of West’s swimming and diving program.
Born and raised in Alaska, Ms. Langford earned her BA in History from University of Alaska Anchorage and her MA in Teaching from University of Alaska Southeast. As a photographer, she is known for capturing arts and entertainment with a focus on live music, special moments such as graduations, weddings, and engagements, and portraiture in experimental, candid, or natural settings, and she is excited to share what she learns by doing with students here at West High School.
